Mag. phil. Raina Gielge is a research assistant at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald; she grew up in Vienna in a bilingual family speaking Polish and German and in 2005-2010 studied General and Applied Linguistics at the University of Vienna. In 2008 she started working at the Berlin Neuroimaging Center of the medical school Charité in Berlin in the research group Neurocognition of Language (NOLA) led by Prof. Dr. Isabell Wartenburger, where she wrote her master’s thesis with the title „Lexical-semantic processing in bilingual children ‒ A cross-linguistic priming study“.
